Melissa R. Sergent is a paralegal with 9 years of experience. She primarily focuses on civil litigation, however, she also assists in government contracting matters including the filing of protests with the (GAO) Government Accountability Office, preparation and oversight of collections actions from commencement through final disposition, as well as post-judgment matters. Melissa is well-versed in the Colorado and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure as well as the electronic filing procedures for the State and Federal electronic filing systems. Melissa has assisted attorneys throughout various law firms as well as the elected officials of Adams County, Colorado and a Circuit Court Judge for the Ottawa County Circuit Court in Michigan. She also worked for the United States District Court for the District of Colorado as the docket clerk for Judge Babcock during his term as Chief Judge as well as Judge Figa.
