The Transactional Paralegal works directly with and in support of the group. This position requires a seasoned professional that provides high quality paralegal support to complex aviation projects and top-level business deals.
All paralegals are required to meet at least 1,600 billable hours.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Draft, prepare and file aircraft documents such as registrations, bills of sale, leases, and licenses with various state and federal agencies such as the Federal Aviation Administration. Conduct online legal and non-legal research; with the ability to analyze information and data. Prepare, research and analyze UCC filings and searches.
Perform corporate legal work; including formation of entities, draft meeting minutes, file annual reports and maintain client corporate minute books. A high level of experience in managing and understanding complex business deals, highly regulated government transactions within a legal compliance context.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; experience with Worldox, Amicus and data management programs a plus. Must be a proactive self-starter that works independently with minimal supervision in a high energy practice.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments under a heavy work load with deadlines. High proficiency in internet research and online legal research programs. Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills.
